If this is true I am going to do something I've never done before, and skip an iPhone version.
Don't do anything crazy.
seems like apple is using the same modus operandi "tick-tock" as intel :apple:
Intel must have copied it from Apple.

Any Sinbad sightings this year? For a while, I felt like I was always running into him on the show floor.

Regardless of the mic's quality, being that it is on-camera would mean that only the sounds very close to the camera would be picked up well.
On-camera mics are notorious for overall poor sound recording. If you want good quality audio recording, you'd need to mic the sound source(s) properly and with the right type of mic(s).

My 3GS is still like new, and I'll keep it until it starts sucking. I'm on 3.1.2 jailbreak, so I have all the features I like and want. I also am one of those people that doesn't recharge until it dies completely, so the battery still lasts two days at a time, unless they update Angry Birds. Then it dies pretty quick while I 3-star everything. (:

Exactly. Not exactly a shocker considering the considerable price drop to some reasonable figures.
Not just the price drop, but performance improvements as well. I had an orig. MBA, and it was a piece of s***. My new MBA is a pretty nice machine. Nice enough I sold my iPad to finance it.

Actually, it is just you. ;) Granted he is a newbie, but he is actually one of our past clients who really liked the work we did for him. And being that he is a bit computer savvy, and I asked him to jump on the fourms and give us plug if he wanted to. Sorry for the misconception. :D

Asleep on a buddies futon in LA. He came in, woke me up, told me what happened and turned on the TV. He saw 2nd plane hit the tower live and that's when he woke me up.
I basically stayed glued to the news and internet sites/forums the whole day.

You can use the Migration Assistant and select the Time Machine drive, then select the file types you'd like to move over if you're looking to move things like apps, documents, preferences, etc rather than just specific files. For specific files, there are a couple nice Time Machine browser applications out there that can make going through the backup files easier.

I also recommend OWC (http://www.macsales.com/). I have 4 extgernal for my three Macs and one is 5 years old and still going strong. Plus the company includes cables for every port that is on the external.

I really can't wait for this marvel.
It is quite nice the hear the coming features. However I find that it kinda kills a little bit the wow effect and the Apple culture when people always try to find out what the next apple's products look like.

My friend bought this last month. I was weary of the controls at first, but after I started playing it I didn't give a rat's arse.
We finally finished all 6 games last Saturday. It cost on average $10 in credits for each game. So for $39 the game is a deal. :)
I loved the part where my character got turned into an uzi wielding orangutan. :D

Let's get to the really important points of all this:
WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WASTES SO MUCH TIME DOING THIS?????
I think I need to get a job at Apple is they have so much spare time that they can pull something like that off.

I may be wrong, but doesn't iTunes convert WMA songs automatically? I'm working on switching over a friend and got him to use iTunes as a start and I think he said when he imported his WMA's it converted them...

I have recently acquired a PowerBook Duo 280c with an Apple Mini Dock, a Micro Dock and a floppy drive. I also have an AsanteTalk, which acts as a physical bridge between RJ45 ethernet and LocalTalk networks. It's running Mac OS 7.6.1.
On my desktop is a MacBook Pro Core Duo with OS X v10.6, an internet connection and a USB floppy drive.
I have a stack of System 7 software, but mostly on CD. There also still seems to be a lot hanging around the Internet.
What I want to do is get software onto the Duo. I know nothing whatsoever technical about the Classic OS or LocalTalk. I am aware that a USB floppy drive won't read traditional Mac formatted disks, though OS 7.6.1 seems to have some level of support for DOS floppies.
So, I guess:

I have noticed that my iPhoto took up nearly half of my 640GB HD, I had 24K pictures. I did some house cleaning and removed lots of albums to folders on the HD and removed the pictures from iPhoto. After cutting out 18K pictures reducing the library to only 6K, iPhoto still took 220GB, my masters were only 56GB.
I found there was a folder with over 158GB, full of tens of thousands of photos, even ones deleted years ago.
I am now using Aperture 3, thanks :apple: for the good price. I now import folders and keep all my folders organized into separate folders by title. I hated the way iPhotos organized.
it is good to recover so much of my HD back.
I have now taken charge of my images and videos, importing separately, rather than using Aperture or iPhoto, then organizing them, then importing them into Aperture or iMove when I need too.
