Merom in the MBP for sure. Now.
Apple is showing "64-bit" in the one banner.
That banner is showing Apple's existing products, not future products. The 64 bit logo is no doubt referring to the current line of G5 machines.

And a pony?
Apple gonna start selling ponies!?!?! I'm gonna be the first to ride one out of my local Apple Store! What is going to be the AppleCare charge on one of these suckers?
Ahh, the joys of waiting for the next new chip.... :p

(HDMI isn't really designed for computer displays)
I think that's kind of his point isn't it. I know I'd like to see more "media center" type features in my Mac.

As long as they at least announce the 17" MBP C2D, I'll be happy, even if it isn't immediately available.
They released the C2D iMACS altogether. I would be really surprised if they didn't do AT LEAST the same to their pro line-ups.

Wifi. Free iChat/Skype calls from any Wifi hotspot. They can't leave this one out. If it is good enough, I might throw away my landline phone.
Yeah. I'm gonna go ahead and be the party pooper: there is no iPhone people. Let's concentrate on the 'true video iPod' rumors instead. Or bring back the 'PowerBook G5 next Tuesday!!1' threads. But this, not happening
And for good measure, I hope I am wrong ;)
I thought Apple confirmed that it was working on a phone during their 3Q financial report.

It's not like me to pass on any Apple product upgrade but if the next iPhone is the exact same form factor and screen size with a camera upgrade, an A5 chip and 1 GB of ram, I'm passing.
I use that money for a second iMac.
Unless there's something in it not expected, I'll probably pass too.
But not because I don't think the rumored upgrades would be great... just because my current iPhone4 works great and I'm assuming iOS5 will bring lots of new toys to iPhone4 and 5 customers. So why spend the money?
However, I have yet to spend more than the original money I spent for the iPhone 1. Every upgrade for me has been free as I've been able to sell my previous phone for the $200 needed to upgrade. So, no skin off my bones.

Releasing iPhone 5 with iOS4 would be a total fail... If this is true, iPhone 5 could possibly be launched in the fall as well.
In my Opinion iOS5 is the most important upgrade over the hardware of the iPhone and the iPad... The software is in MUCH need for an upgrade. Nomatter how good the iPhone 5 hardware is, giving it iOS4 will make it seem outdated

Hopefully the iPhone will a handy cell phone...
Software::
- Mac OS X (mobile version)
- iTunes
- iPhoto
- Quicktime
- iChat
- Safari
- Skype (downloadable)
Hardware::
- 3 - 5 megapixel camera w/auto-focus (photo taking)
- VGA (front of phone for video conferencing ... similar too the ones found in iMac / Mac Book / Mac Book Pro)
- Touchscreen
- WiFi
- Bluetooth
- GSM / HSPDA (3.5 G)
- 8 Gb NAND Flash
- 3" Colour Display
Would be nice to be able to have a Mac Book / Mac Book Pro of sorts too fit in your pocket?! Or is that just me?
I would throw away my Nokia N80 and get that.
One thing hopefully it be similar to a Nokia N61. If so plus with the stuff I posted, it would destroy any multimedia phone on the market. Plus would be smaller than an OQO.

Knowing apple when you buy an apple product it will be free for a certain amount of time, than you will have to renew the membership for the $100.

And there's been exactly 0% of Operating Systems sold on the app store. And 0% of stories that downloading Lion will be excactly like downloading every other app on the app store.
0% Operating Systems in the app store, yet somehow you know exactly how their going to change their politicly on both app store sales and general OS sales, while no one else has any hint that they're be any changes at all.
what else can you see in that crystal ball of yours?

This just makes me more interested to hear what Apple has come up with. I like the idea of "the cloud" but I'd definitely like to compare Amazon's with Apple's when it is announced in June.

GL on getting people to start making ARM binaries for windows 8 which only runs on tablets who happen to be extremely unsuccessful. If Microsoft makes an ARM version of windows 8 for tablets only, then windows-based tablets will be even deader than they are already.
On a side note: All current ARM processers are designed for very compact and tight spaces where power efficiency is THE most important thing. Regular laptop/desktop CPUs are not, to the same extent anyway. ARM has yet to show us what it can deliver in that area, so who knows. We'll just have to wait and see.
Windows is making a version of Windows that works on ARM and the regular processors, so ALL the software works for it. They wont be separate versions.

What rock are you living under?? A 5mb file is high end? Haha Why do you think the RIAA & MPAA are scared? It's soooooo easy to download music & movies illegally. Or look at YouTube, god knows how many 10mb videos are downloaded each second.
I haven't done ripping in a while, but decent encoding was about about 1Mb per minute for music, and the goal for a feature length movie was about 650Mb (The size of a CD ;)). Maybe they have gotten better, but you do realize a DVD is like 4.5Gb and it already is a lossy format?
650Mb movies are tolarable on a TV, but not a HD TV in my opinion. The few movies I did encode down, I was happy with 250Mb feature length movies at 320x200. Yes, I've been under a rock, but only for a couple years.

I've had the service for over 4 years and I have never paid full price.
I would not mind if they lowered the price to say $49/annually or even tiered pricing, but all out free scares me a little.

Okay, but we start with only 1 HP. So, a number of us could die in the first round?
The villain's level doesn't matter, right? He either kills all or he loses.
If you're extremely unlucky, yes, but it'll be nearly impossible (I won't allow the villain to buy a hulking level 10 dragon for 1 point, for instance ;)).
The villain's level only matters once the heroes reaches, and battles, the villain. The villain is the "final boss" of the game.

Why can't Apple sell me a desktop with 2GB RAM stock and a 250GB HD for less than two grand?
They can. It is called an iMac, and the 17 incher with 2 GB of RAM and a 25o GB HDD goes for $1674.00
