For us it took @ 104 days to get AP approved.

Still i am wating on EAD,EAD was applied same time.We had RFE on June 22 resubmitted now system showing June 25 receipt date.

Just hold on to those papers and make them available when they travel back in future.
Their Visa will not get cancelled, i have seen people coming back second time after just rejection. But ensure they leave the country ASAP

You will get a 3 year H1 with new company if you have an approved labor and approved I 140 with any company. Any company really means any company. If you have worked or not, have an H1 or not, etc. etc - nothing matters.
To get a 3 year H1, you need an approved labor and 140 from SOME employer, whether its your past employer, your current employer or a future employer.

Hi,
I have applied 485 through a lawyer. The lawfirm sold their company to some one else. I was asked to file G28 and I didn't file for G28 yet.
I got a mail saying I was sent RFE n Feb 4th. I haven't received the letter yet. Would the RFE go to lawyer or me?
What should I do now?

At any International Airport go to US Customs and Border Protection Office. Show then the I-94 with incorrect name along with your passport that has the correct name and they will be able to fix the issue.

It is 90 days without employment on OPT. 10 days of unemployment between two jobs does not count towards the limit. You can also work part-time (20 hrs/week) or as a volunteer to stop the counter.
I recommend contacting your international department for details. They should be able to guide you depending on how useful/active they are!

Hello,
I am currently working on OPT. My company has just applied for my H1B visa. Assuming it gets approved in 2-3 months time (i.e. in March), when can i have it stamped? Can i go back to my home country to get it stamped in April or will i have to wait till 1st Oct 2011 to get it stamped?

We got our EAD cards today.
We had gone for FP on Sept 19th and saw LUDs on Sep 20th on our I-485s. But the EAD cards came without our fingerprints. EAD cards came from the same Service center (Nebraska) where the FP notices came from. So wondering, how they did not include our fingerprints in the EAD card?? I had also checked with FBI helpline two weeks back and verified that the FPs were delivered to USCIS.
Anybody else in similar situation?

If it was just for 485 - why do you expect it appear on your 765 and EAD card? As far as it known, 485 and 765 are complete different things and not related to each other in any way. Didn't you know that?

The pamphlet covers the visa process, important documents, workplace and employee rights, human trafficking, and how to file a complaint. This is a very useful document, not just for immigrants.
